Access to and Confidentiality of Data
- Personal data collected through membership of Sonae’s mailing list are processed automatically, and any omission or inaccuracy of data supplied is the entire and unique responsibility of Members.
- In view of the fact that the Internet is an insecure environment, data circulating on the network can be seen and used by third parties.
- Under the authorised terms of membership of Sonae’s mailing list, members’ personal data contained in the list, in accordance with relevant legislation, will be stored and processed by computer, and are destined for use by Sonae in its press releases and announcements involving institutional information. Members give their express and entire agreement to be sent all communications and/or notifications involving Sonae to the mail or e mail address shown on the Mailing List Membership Application Form.
- Under the terms of relevant legislation, Members are guaranteed the right, at no additional cost, to access, correct, update and delete their personal data, either directly or on written request, as well as the right to object to the use of these data for the purposes specified in paragraph 3. To exercise the latter right, members should contact the person responsible for the processing of personal data at the following e mail addresses: comunicacao@sonae.pt e investor.relations@sonae.pt.
